Phoenix Theatre campaign

The Phoenix Theatre, an Actors’ Equity member institution, presents diverse plays, including recent Broadway hits (which it’s often the first Midwest theatre to stage) and new works by Hoosier playwrights. It mounts its productions on two stages in a renovated church that’s been its home since 1988.

Faced with ongoing needs for updates to its physical plant, as well as developmental imperatives for operational and endowment support, the Phoenix embarked on a comprehensive campaign. I researched, wrote, designed, laid out, typeset, and produced the brochure that presented the case for support, using a color scheme derived from the organization’s existing logo. For the front and back covers, I created digital illustrations that make the brochure’s titling elements and the client’s contact information look like they’re printed on tickets. (Update: The Phoenix moved to a new location in 2018.)
